Red Mountain Highway
Quoted as being "the next big thing" in the Colorado Country Music scene, Red Mountain Highway blends driving riffs with soulful vocals to create a sound that is uniquely their own and consistently delivers on both amazing original music and country covers. A powerhouse of a musical group, the band features the 2024 Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame Male Vocalist of the Year, and unrivaled instrumentalists, with several members being frequent performers on the Grand Ole Opry and Carnegie Hall stages.
Rooted in Red Dirt
Starting out, the idea was to deliver a unique, high quality, and definitively original "Country with an Attitude" kind of sound to help launch the Colorado Country Scene into national relevance. Band influences include Cody Jinks, The Randy Rogers Band, Jason Boland, Midland, Whiskey Myers and Cody Johnson. Entirely comprised of Retired and Active Duty Military members, Red Mountain Highway knows what it means to get dirty!
Looking to the Future
Red Mountain Highway, like so many other great western artists, grew up in the honky tonk. The band will always occasionally perform in small public rooms characterized by Coors, Pearl Snaps and Ariats. That being said, as we look towards the future, we are primarily focusing on our original music and have recently transitioned to primary support for national acts, larger festivals and private events.
